As part of its all the year round campaign in creating awareness on the dangers of colorectal cancer as well as taking preventive measures, David Omenukor Foundation organized a quiz competition among secondary schools in the three local governments in Mbaise on March 31, 2022. The event which was the climax of the Foundation’s various activities to mark the “March Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month”
featured free screenings for Colorectal Cancer and Prostate Cancer, in addition to educating people on the dangers of cancer and how to avoid this dangerous killer disease.
The program which well attended, kicked off with an opening remark by the CEO of the Foundation Dr Keyna Omenukor who stressed the importance of early screening and detection as the greatest therapy for cancer.
Participants received various prizes ranging from cash to gift items.
